Iraq, 19 July 2017 - Since July 2016, IOM, the UN Migration Agency, has assisted in person over 50,000 vulnerable migrants with family reunifications in Germany through its Family Assistance Programme (FAP).

Iraq – Three million Iraqis remain internally displaced across the country, despite numerous successes by military forces in dislodging and reclaiming much of the territory once occupied by ISIL.

25 April 2017, Iraq - In a joint effort, IOM, the UN Migration Agency, the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) and Georgetown University's Center for Contemporary Arab Studies and the Institute for the Study of International Migration (ISIM) organized a conference on 'Migration and Displacement in Iraq: Working Towards Durable Solutions'.

Iraq, 15 March 2016 - - A new study by IOM, “Migration Flows from Iraq to Europe,” explores the experiences of recent Iraqi migrants, with the goal of gaining insight into their personal profile, decision-making process, journey and future intentions.
